This Spyder is in excellent condition with 39006km on the clock, comes all books and keys, The 2008 Can-Am Spyder RS SM5 marked a revolutionary entry into the personal mobility market, being the very first production model of Can-Am's distinctive three-wheeled vehicle. Manufactured by Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP), the Spyder RS SM5 was designed to offer a unique blend of motorcycle-like exhilaration with enhanced stability more akin to a car or ATV.
Its "Y-factor" design featured two wheels at the front for steering and a single drive wheel at the rear. Power came from a 998cc Rotax V-twin engine, producing approximately 106 horsepower, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission (SM5) with reverse.
Key to its appeal was its suite of automotive-inspired safety features, including Vehicle Stability System (VSS), which incorporated ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), Traction Control System (TCS), and Stability Control System (SCS).
