This bike is in excllent condition with 53 hours on it, The 2023 Yamaha YZ450F is a complete redesign of Yamaha's flagship 450cc motocross bike.
Key Highlights:
All-New Engine and Chassis: The 2023 model features a totally new, more compact, and lighter 450cc four-stroke engine that delivers increased power across the rev range with a 500 RPM higher rev limit. This is paired with a redesigned aluminum bilateral beam frame for improved handling, agility, and traction.
Significant Weight Reduction: The bike is approximately 5 pounds lighter than the previous generation.
Slimmer Body and Improved Ergonomics: New bodywork is notably slimmer and flatter, especially around the fuel tank and shrouds. The "rider triangle" (seat, footpegs, handlebar position) was revised to be more comfortable, particularly for taller riders.
Advanced Electronics: New features include a Traction Control System (with High, Low, and Off settings) and an updated Launch Control System with adjustable RPM limiting. Both are easily tuned via the revised, more user-friendly Yamaha Power Tuner App.
Refined Components: Other updates include a new, more compact clutch design (using a disc spring instead of coil springs), an all-new tri-shaft transmission layout, and updated valving for the best-in-class KYB Speed Sensitive System (SSS) suspension, which now features a tool-less compression adjuster on the fork.
In short, the 2023 YZ450F aimed to build on the YZ-F's reputation for great power and suspension while addressing critiques of previous models by delivering a much lighter, slimmer, and more controllable package.
